Meet The Team: Johnathan Mace

Manufacturer’s Sales Rep - Western North Carolina and Western Virginia

Johnathan is a manufacturer’s sales representative with a strong background in grain milling, mining, and heavy industrial operations. As a Federal and State Licensed High Voltage Electrician and experienced Fiber Optic Technician, he brings hands-on technical knowledge to every customer interaction.

With over 10 years in industrial maintenance, he has worked across electrical systems, PLCs, mechanical and pneumatic systems, fabrication, and precision machining. His experience in large scale flour milling operations gives him a practical understanding of high-volume production challenges.

Johnathan has held leadership roles including Maintenance Manager and Project Manager, where he focused on improving uptime, safety, and operational efficiency. He also helped implement a 5S program and developed an apprenticeship program to build skilled technical teams.

At Solid Design, he works closely with customers to identify problems, recommend the right solutions, and ensure reliable performance in real world applications.
